Kompas have extensive experience with the historic preservation of Grade listed protected structures for both Private Clients and Government Departments. Conservation is not just seen as a means of preservation but actively extending the useful life of the building in a pro-active manner. This is done through adapting the fabric of existing buildings to new uses, extending their useful material life, retaining and restoring the important original fabric and allowing any new works contrast with the original, giving an active future to the building.
